The official website for the television anime adaptation of Hamuo‘s Hell Mode: Yarikomizuki no Gamer wa Hai Settei no Isekai de Musou suru light novel has revealed additional cast members and a new visual for the second season on Wednesday. The anime series premiered on July 4 at 1:00 a.m. on Tokyo MX, followed by MBS, AT-X, and BS Nippon Television.

Staff
Tamagawa Masato is directing the anime at Yokohama Animation Lab, with Tanimura Daishirou handling series composition. Tsushima Kei is designing the characters.
The music is composed by Tsuchida Misaki, Kanazaki Moyu, Nakajima Junko, Sakuma Kanade, Abe Reiko, Sawada Kaho, Beau Damian, Tanaka Tsugumi, Fukuhiro Shuichiro, and Miki Shin.
Production and Release
Produced by Yokohama Animation Lab, the first season aired in 12 episodes in Winter 2026. Sentai Filmworks licensed the anime, with HIDIVE simulcasting the series with multiple subtitles.
Hamuo began writing the novel on the Shousetsuka ni Narou website in November 2019. Earth Star Entertainment acquired the novel under its Earth Star Novel imprint in July 2020, featuring illustrations by Mo. The 14th volume went on sale on July 15.
Enji Tetta began drawing a manga adaptation on the Comic Earth☆Star web magazine in October 2020. The 14th volume was released on July 10.
J-Novel Club licensed both the light novel and manga for digital release in English in July 2021 and July 2023, respectively. The 12th light novel volume went on sale on August 5. The tenth manga volume was released on April 29, and the 11th volume is scheduled for release on September 2.
