About the Series
Seihantai na Kimi to Boku is a “sympathy MAX love comedy” based on the manga by AgaZara Koucha, which was serialized on Jump+ until 2024 and has sold over 1.6 million copies in print and digital. The story follows two polar opposites: Suzuki, a girl who is always energetic but overly concerned with what others think, and Tani, a quiet boy who can firmly state his own opinions. It depicts how these two learn to respect each other, slowly deepen their understanding, and navigate school life with their friends.
The series has won numerous manga awards, including the Male Category Award in the “Everyone Chooses!! E-Comic Awards 2024,” 7th place in the “Manga Taisho 2024,” and the Work Award in the “4th Magademy Awards.” The TV anime is directed by Nagatomo Kazukazu with animation production by Lapin Track.
