Sweet Treats for Spirit Detectives: New Yu☆Yu☆Hakusho Merch Arrives!
Calling all Spirit World enthusiasts! A delicious new line of goods for the classic TV anime Yu☆Yu☆Hakusho has just been announced. The merchandise will be up for grabs on the online store “eeo Store online” starting February 6, 2026 (Friday). A Quick Flashback: What’s Yu☆Yu☆Hakusho?
For the uninitiated, Yu☆Yu☆Hakusho is the legendary battle manga by Yoshihiro Togashi that serialized in Weekly Shonen Jump from 1990 to 1994. The story follows the punk-with-a-heart protagonist Urameshi Yuusuke, who dies in a traffic accident. Given a second chance as a Spirit Detective, he teams up with the hot-headed Kuwabara Kazuma, the cunning fox demon Kurama, and the brooding swordsman Hiei to protect the human world from supernatural threats.
The TV anime adaptation, which aired from October 1992 for 112 episodes, became a defining work for Studio Pierrot. Its legacy continues, with a live-action drama series hitting Netflix in December 2023.
