From the hit anime Kimetsu no Yaiba, the Nichirin Blade of Agatsuma Zenitsu has been brought to life in an approximately 1/1 scale replica by the adult-oriented role-play toy brand “PROPLICA”. A lottery sale for items shipping in March 2026 is currently being held on the Bandai Namco Group’s official mail-order site, “Premium Bandai“.
About Kimetsu no Yaiba
Kimetsu no Yaiba is an anime based on the manga by Gotouge Koyoharu, published in 23 volumes by Shueisha’s “Jump Comics” with a cumulative circulation exceeding 220 million copies. The story follows Kamado Tanjirou, a boy whose family was killed by demons. To turn his younger sister Nezuko, who has become a demon, back into a human, he joins the Demon Slayer Corps and throws himself into battle against demons. The series is wildly popular for its poignant tale of humans and demons, breathtaking sword fights, charming characters, and the occasional comedic scene.
The Wielder of Thunder: Agatsuma Zenitsu
Agatsuma Zenitsu is a Demon Slayer swordsman from Tanjirou’s cohort and a user of the “Thunder Breathing” style. He’s an extremely fearful character who faints and awakens when thrown into a state of extreme terror. He possesses exceptional hearing and absolutely loves girls.
PROPLICA Nichirin Blade (Agatsuma Zenitsu) Details
This “PROPLICA Nichirin Blade (Agatsuma Zenitsu)” is the first approximately 1/1 scale model of Zenitsu’s blade, calculated from his official height, recreated with an impressive total blade length of about 880mm.
This item is a series first to include a “scabbard,” allowing fans to enjoy Zenitsu’s signature draw and sheathe scenes with the help of built-in sensor gimmicks. It comes loaded with over 60 types of sounds, including Zenitsu’s famous lines, Thunder Breathing sound effects, and BGMs that can be played simultaneously with the voice lines.
The blade itself boasts a beautifully curved form with a lustrous finish that speaks to its sharpness. Its most striking feature, the lightning-bolt pattern on the blade, is vividly etched using advanced transfer printing technology.
The scabbard and handle feature a calm, matte texture, expressing a heavy, substantial presence and the quiet before the draw.
Voice Modes & Sounds
The BGM tracks “Agatsuma Zenitsu” and “Hekireki Issen Roku Ren ~Oni no Kishidan Toshite~” (Thunderclap and Flash Sixfold ~As a Demon Slayer~) are included. For voices, there are two modes: “I’m Agatsuma Zenitsu, you know! Mode” with his comical lines, and the “Demon Slayer Mode” with his passionate, heartfelt lines. The Demon Slayer Mode also includes voice lines from Zenitsu’s master.
The set also comes with a special booklet containing the audio list and a dedicated display stand.
