Picture book series “Nontan” and lifestyle brand “studio CLIP” have released their first collaboration items. They will be available from May 13 at the official web store “and ST” and at studio CLIP stores in Japan.
Nontan is a picture book series that began with Nontan Buranko Nosete (Nontan, Let Me on the Swing) published by Sachiko Kiyono in 1976. With over 35 million copies in print, it has been beloved across various media including anime and musicals.
Commemorating the 50th anniversary of the series, the collaboration offers a total of 37 types of lifestyle goods. Including interior and kitchen items, as well as summer-friendly items such as a cool pack pouch, handy fan, and ice bottle. The color schemes are carefully chosen, with stripe patterns and two-tone designs that adults can easily use daily.
At physical studio CLIP stores, a novelty campaign will be held. Customers who purchase at least one Nontan collaboration item among other store products totaling 5,000 yen (tax included) will receive a collaboration sticker set on a first-come, first-served basis.
