‘Moomin’ was created by Tove Jansson, a writer, painter, and artist. The story of the Moomintroll and his friends began with the 1945 novel ‘The Moomins and the Great Flood’ and has been translated and published in over 60 countries. Goods, spots, and animations based on the original novels, comics, and picture books are loved not only in Finland but also by many people in Japan and other countries.
Nyoronyo is a mysterious creature that appears in ‘Moomin’. They are characterized by moving in groups in a swaying manner, and it is said that they sprout from the ground if seeds are sown on the eve of the summer solstice.
