
Voice actress Iguchi Yuka graces the cover and opening gravure feature of Shueisha’s men’s weekly magazine Weekly Playboy No.21 (released May 11, 2026). The issue comes with a special DVD featuring Iguchi, and the news site Weekly Playboy NEWS has released the magazine’s cuts and interview.

Iguchi Yuka was born on July 11, from Tokyo. She debuted as a voice actress in 2002, and played her first lead role as Amami Haruka in the 2007 TV anime The Idolmaster XENOGLOSSIA. Her major roles include Index in the A Certain Magical Index series, and Oshino Ougi in the Monogatari series. She debuted as a solo artist in 2013 with the single ‘Shining Star-☆-LOVE Letter’ and actively holds live performances in Japan and abroad.
The currently on-sale Weekly Playboy No.21 features Iguchi as the ‘gravure queen of the voice acting world’ on the cover and opening pages, following her second photo book MORE MORE MORE from 2024 which became a hot topic. The magazine presents select additional cuts from her upcoming photo book scheduled for release on July 11. The special DVD includes 39 minutes of making-of footage for the photo book.

Additionally, the magazine’s news site Weekly Playboy NEWS has published the cuts and interview, some of which were also posted on the official X account. Regarding voice actors wearing swimsuits, Iguchi stated, ‘I don’t think we need to set boundaries like “this is voice acting work and this isn’t.” I think it’s fine to do what you want and ultimately have it benefit your acting.’ This gives a glimpse of her thoughts.
Meanwhile, reservations are now being accepted for Iguchi’s third photo book, set for release on July 11. Iguchi, who has been dominating magazine covers by leveraging her naturally glamorous body, has thoroughly prepared her physique for this book. The shooting took place in both Vietnam and Japan, capturing Iguchi’s present from various angles, from natural settings to moody hotels. The book is touted as the ‘ultimate work of the strongest gravure voice actress ever.’
