The official website for the Cyborg 009: Nemesis anime series has announced additional cast members and a new visual. The anime, adapting Ishinomori Shoutarou’s action sci-fi manga, will begin streaming in Summer 2026.

Anbo Hideki (known for Yakitori) is directing the anime at ARECT. Tomioka Atsuhiro (Fairy Tail: 100-nen Quest) and Charatex are co-writing the script, while sanorin (Boku no Kanojo wa Dekkawaii manga) is designing the characters.
Ishinomori Shoutarou launched the original action sci-fi manga in Weekly Shounen King in July 1964. The series continued across multiple magazines and concluded its regular serialization in Weekly Shounen Sunday in 1981.
Toei Animation produced the first television anime in 1968, followed by a second adaptation in 1979 and a 50-episode third series from Fall 2001 to Fall 2002. The manga also inspired several anime movies: in 1966, 1967, 1980, and 2012, plus the Cyborg 009: Call of Justice trilogy that premiered in late 2016.
