The Godzilla Head in Tokyo’s Shinjuku district is now an accessory! It appears as a “Pyokotte” clip, making it look like the character is peeking out. COSPA, which offers official character costumes, apparel, and goods, is releasing this item.
Godzilla is a giant monster born in Japan. Toho’s “Godzilla Series” began with the first film in 1954 and has since produced 30 films. Recent hits include 2016’s “Shin Godzilla” directed by Hideaki Anno of “Evangelion” fame, and 2023’s “Godzilla Minus One”, which became the first Japanese film to win the Academy Award for Best Visual Effects.
A new film by Takashi Yamazaki, “Godzilla Minus Zero”, is scheduled for release on November 3, 2026. The franchise also has anime adaptations, including “Godzilla Singular Point” (13 episodes aired in 2021), which attracted new fans.
The “Godzilla Head Acrylic Pyokotte” is inspired by the Godzilla Head that appears to stick out from a building in Shinjuku.
“Pyokotte” is a unique item that attaches to clothing, bags, or stationery with a clip on the back, making it look like the character is peeking out.

The “Godzilla Head Acrylic Pyokotte” measures about 80mm. It will be available for pre-order at the Godzilla Store ONLINE in late June, with general sales starting in late July through the COSPA online shop and other retailers. Orders are currently being accepted.
