The popular picture book series Pan Dorobou is adding a new mook to its lineup. Pan Dorobou Oekaki Book Stencil Set Tokudai Gou, an extra-large issue that comes with a special Stencil Set appendix, is scheduled for release on February 22, 2027.
Pan Dorobou is a picture book series by Shibata Keiko. Since the first volume was published in 2020, its surreal and playful characters have attracted a following. The latest book, Pan Dorobou to Sasurai Ramen, was published on September 16, 2026, and the TV anime began airing on E TV on October 2, 2026.
What the stencil set includes
The special appendix is a Stencil Set containing six stencil sheets for drawing Pan Dorobou, Nise Pan Dorobou, and cute bread characters, two original pens for immediate play, and one dedicated stencil base.
The base can hold paper and a stencil sheet together, helping prevent the sheet from shifting while drawing. The design is intended to make tracing easier for small children and to give them a sense of accomplishment: they drew it by themselves.
The set is not only for children’s drawing activities; it is also recommended for adult fans. The stencils can add Pan Dorobou illustrations to planners and diaries, or provide a small accent for letters and message cards.
The magazine itself features plenty of content for drawing and coloring Pan Dorobou characters. It also includes a bound-in Pan Dorobou sheet designed to be used together with the stencil set.
Pan Dorobou Oekaki Book Stencil Set Tokudai Gou is scheduled for release on February 22, 2027, and is priced at 1,540 yen (tax included).
