New information has been revealed for the double-feature film Kamen Rider Zetts & Super Space Sheriff Gavan Infinity W Hero Summer Movie 2026, which will be released on July 24, 2026. Shunta Sano from the idol group M!LK will appear in the film Kamen Rider Zetts.

Kamen Rider Zetts is the latest Kamen Rider series featuring the good-natured young man Yorozu Baku, who dreams of becoming an invincible agent and transforms using the Zetts Driver belt worn on his chest. Super Space Sheriff Gavan Infinity is the first installment of the new hero series PROJECT R.E.D., which will take over the Super Sentai series time slot. It follows the spirit of the 1982 Space Sheriff Gavan, set in a multiverse (Cosmo Layer), where the dimension-hopping Gavan solves “emergy crimes” occurring in each dimension.
In Kamen Rider Zetts, Shunta Sano plays the role of Shuma Kumon, a young elite serving as the National Public Safety Commission Chairman. Publicly, he handles incidents as the top security official, but his true identity is that of a villain who transforms the real world into a “daydream” world and manipulates people’s consciousness. He is a cousin of Nox / Kensho Kodaka and schemes to draw him into his plot.

In the film, he transforms into the evil Rider Kamen Rider Mugen. Kumon regularly practices swordsmanship, and even after transformation, he fights using a sword as his weapon. Sano, who plays the dark hero in this film, received guidance on sword techniques and tried his hand at serious action choreography for the first time. The battle scenes where he overwhelms Zetts and Nox with overwhelming power will be a major highlight.
Speaking about the shoot, Sano said, “Although I play a dark hero, I am very happy to be able to transform into Kamen Rider, which I have always admired. I also had repeated discussions with the director about the transformation pose, and I put a lot of thought into it, so please pay attention!” He shared his dedication to the transformation scene.

I took on the challenge with all my might to participate in the long-running Kamen Rider series.
I received acting advice from M!LK member Jutaro Yamanaka, who appeared in Kamen Rider Gotchard, and all the members supported me.
Although I am a dark hero, I am very happy to be able to transform into the Kamen Rider I have always admired. I also put a lot of thought into the transformation pose after repeated discussions with the director, so please be sure to check it out!
