A wave of nostalgia is coming as CASETiFY launches a new collection inspired by the beloved digital pet Tamagotchi. The lineup includes phone cases, tech accessories, a customizable suitcase, a plush earbuds pouch, straps, charm hooks, and even collectible chase cards. The collection also features a CASETiFY-limited Tamagotchi device.
About the Collaboration
Tamagotchi, first released by Bandai on November 23, 1996, became a massive hit, especially among high school girls. After returning in 2004 with infrared communication as “Kaettekita! Tamagotchi Plus,” the series has expanded globally with new features. As of the end of July 2025, worldwide cumulative shipments have reached 100 million units.
This collection draws inspiration from Tamagotchi’s nostalgic digital aesthetic, blending vibrant colors, iconic icons, and whimsical sticker-like designs across phone cases, tech accessories, and special items.
Featured Items
A standout item is the “Tamagotchi Carry-On Suitcase,” customizable like a phone case. It lets users choose their favorite Tamagotchi via a custom print option and even add names or initials in the distinctive Tamagotchi font. Available in primrose pink and cobalt blue, it’s designed to make travel more playful.
The “Original Tamagotchi CASETiFY LIMITED EDITION” uses a custom CASETiFY logo shell for a unique look.
The “Tamagotchi Plush Earbuds Pouch” features a vinyl face design, safely storing earbuds while allowing easy access.
Other accessories include a versatile “3-Way Strap” with adjustable length, a “Phone Strap” with a detachable plush charm, and a metal Tamagotchi-shaped “Charm Hook” for personalization.
To enhance collectibility, the collaboration introduces the “CASETiFY Tamagotchi Chase Card.” Part of CASETiFY’s new premium collectible card series “CHASE CARD by CASETiFY,” the cards come in several designs, offering a fun unboxing experience. Customers who purchase one or more items from the Tamagotchi x CASETiFY collection will receive one pack for free.
Special Activation and Availability
To celebrate the launch, special Tamagotchi x CASETiFY activations will be held at CASETiFY STUDiO Shibuya PARCO in Japan and the CASETiFY Dosan flagship store in Korea. From May 29 (Friday) to June 30 (Tuesday), the Shibuya PARCO store (5F) will transform into a space filled with the Heisei retro atmosphere of Tamagotchi. The limited-edition “Original Tamagotchi CASETiFY LIMITED EDITION” — only available online and at Shibuya PARCO (5F) — will be on display, along with store-exclusive phone case designs and interactive photo spots.
The collection will also be available at other CASETiFY locations: OSAKA Shinsaibashi, Sapporo PARCO, Shibuya PARCO, Ikebukuro PARCO, Shinjuku Marui, Lucua Osaka, Hiroshima PARCO, Amu Plaza Hakata, Nagoya Takashimaya Gate Tower Mall, and Newoman Takanawa.
Pricing and Release Date
The limited collection launches on May 29, 2026, at 17:00 JST. Prices start at ¥6,050 (tax included) for phone cases and ¥2,200 (tax included) for tech accessories.
