About Meitantei Precure!
Meitantei Precure! is the 23rd installment in the Precure series. The story begins when Akechi Anna, who turns 2027 years old, meets a fairy named Pochitan and is wrapped in mysterious light, sending her back in time to the year 1999.
In that world, Anna meets Kobayashi Mikuru, who aspires to be a detective, and the self-proclaimed genius scientist fairy, Jet-senpai. Determined to become a proper detective at the Curett Detective Agency, Anna transforms into Meitantei Precure to take on various difficult cases and retrieve precious items stolen by the phantom thief gang, Phantom. The franchise’s first theatrical film, Eiga Meitantei Precure! Fushigi na Niwa to Futari no Himitsu, is set for nationwide release on September 18, 2026.
