TV anime Nintama Rantarou has teamed up with All Hearts Company, the bakery and patisserie chain behind brands like Heart Bread Antique, Pastel, and Neko Neko Shokupan. A limited-edition lineup of breads, sweets, and merchandise is now rolling out at select stores and convenience stores nationwide.
Based on Soubee Amako’s ninja gag manga, Nintama Rantarou follows the comedic daily struggles of Rantarou, Shinbe, and Kirimaru as they train to become top-tier ninja at the Ninjutsu Academy. The TV series has been airing since 1993 and is beloved across generations. The recent theatrical film Nintama Rantarou: Dokutake Ninja Team – Strongest Strategist, which hit theaters on December 20, 2024, added a more serious twist to the usual antics.
The collaboration is themed around “Nintama-tachi no Wakuwaku Chouri Jisshuu no Dan” (The Ninja Kids’ Exciting Cooking Class). The headmaster’s sudden idea has the students donning aprons to practice cooking for themselves. New products feature first-year trio Rantarou, Kirimaru, and Shinbe, as well as the sixth-years, alongside exclusive collaborative visuals of the characters cooking.
Each All Hearts brand brings something unique to the table.
Nintama Rantarou × Heart Bread Antique
Highlights include the 12-cm-wide “Cookie & Cream Chocolate Ring ~Wakuwaku Chouri Jisshuu no Dan~ SS,” a star-shaped apple pie named “Rantarou & Kirimaru & Shinbe no Shuriken Apple Pie,” and a soft bread roll called “Bunjirou no Gin Gin! Hyouroumaru ‘Fuu’ Pan” inspired by Bunjirou Shijou. Other items include:

Nintama Rantarou × Neko Neko Shokupan
From the adorable cat-shaped bread brand comes a collaboration-exclusive flavor: “Neko Neko Shokupan ~Ninjutsu Gakuen Roku-nensei~.” The dough is kneaded with mugwort and azuki beans, shaped to mimic a ninja hood with a split-color pattern.
Nintama Rantarou × Pastel
Pastel offers a fruit-topped pudding boat: “Nintama-tachi no Yokubari Pudding à la Mode” with sponge, whipped cream, smooth pudding, cherries, yellow peach, and blueberries. There’s also “Hemuhemu no Oekaki Pudding” featuring a cocoa-powder design of the beloved dog Hemuhemu, plus a handy “Kutsuku Hiyoufuroshiki” cooling wrap.
Nintama Rantarou × Pinede
Pinede rolls out an “Nintama Rantarou Illustration Cake” in two sizes (4-inch and 5-inch), decorated with illustrations of the first-years and sixth-years, with fluffy cream and sponge sandwiching fruit inside.
Collaboration Goods Galore
Exclusive merchandise includes a “Waku Waku Chouri Jisshuu no Dan! Makimono Lunch Mat” available only at the official online store All Hearts Mall, plus trading acrylic keychains and acrylic stands. These goods can be found at select Heart Bread Antique, Benkei, and Pastel stores, as well as Neko Neko Factory Higashiura and GK Store Online Shop (Pinede stores excluded).
At participating stores (Heart Bread Antique, Benkei, Pastel, and Neko Neko Factory Higashiura), customers spending 2,000 yen (tax included) on collaboration products or goods will receive a limited novelty gift.
The collaboration items are available until June 23, 2026. Advance reservations for the Pinede illustration cake end on the same date. Full details can be found on the dedicated collaboration website.
