To celebrate the 25th anniversary of the manga BLACK LAGOON, two hard-boiled chronograph watches have been announced, each capturing the gritty world of Roanapur. The Lagoon Company Edition and the Hotel Moscow Vysotniki Edition will be produced in strictly limited quantities of 2,001 units per model. Pre-orders begin June 19, 2026.
About BLACK LAGOON
Created by Hiroe Rei, BLACK LAGOON first appeared as a one-shot in the April 2001 issue of Sunday GX before beginning regular serialization one year later in 2002. Set in the lawless city of Roanapur, the series follows a group of outlaws in a stylish, hard-boiled gun-action story. The anime adaptation, directed by Katafuchi Naoto and produced by Madhouse, helped propel the franchise to cumulative sales of over 9.5 million copies as of 2026, the year of its 25th anniversary.
The new chronograph watches are designed to embody the same tough, practical spirit. Both models feature a solid stainless steel case, a Japanese chronograph movement, and a screw-back case back, built to withstand harsh daily use.
Lagoon Company Edition
The Lagoon Company model sports a rugged black and gunmetal finish that minimizes light reflection and blends into the shadows. The dial features the Lagoon Company metal logo, a motif inspired by Revy’s sword cutlass at the 9 o’clock position, and a second hand shaped like a 9 mm bullet. To mark the 25th anniversary, two natural diamonds shine at the 25-minute mark.
Hotel Moscow Vysotniki Edition
The Hotel Moscow model contrasts silver and black to evoke disciplined strength. The dial displays the Hotel Moscow metal logo, a motif based on Balalaika’s Stechkin selector at the 6 o’clock position, and a second hand shaped like a 5.45 mm bullet. Like its counterpart, it features two natural diamonds at the 25-minute position for the anniversary.
Special Features
Both watches have the 25th anniversary logo and an individual edition number engraved on the case back, confirming their limited production. They come with a special stainless steel dog tag (identification plate), a heavyweight stainless steel hairline-finished guarantee card, and a watch box.
Creator Hiroe Rei also contributed a comment card included with each watch. He said: “To mark the 25th anniversary, a luxurious item has been made. It’s perfect for daily wear or collection. Both the Lagoon Company and Hotel Moscow editions are finely detailed—please enjoy them.”

The two models, Lagoon Company Edition and Hotel Moscow Vysotniki Edition, are each limited to 2,001 pieces. Pre-orders start June 19, 2026, with shipments scheduled for late October 2026.
