The official website for the television anime Kabushikigaisha Magi-Lumière 2nd Season (also known as Magilumiere Magical Girls Inc. Season 2) has unveiled additional cast members, staff, a key visual, the ending theme, and the first promotional video. The anime, adapting the mahou shoujo manga by Sekka Iwata and Yuu Aoki, is set to premiere on Nippon TV at 1:05 a.m. on July 5.
New Cast Members
Voice actresses Mariko Higashiuchie (Fruits Basket) and Sayumi Watabe (Koi wa Ameagari no You ni) join the cast as Hitomi Koshigaya and Iroha Akasaka, respectively.
Staff
Notable staff changes include Toshinori Fukushima (Major S3) taking over as director at J.C.Staff, replacing Masahiro Hiraoka. Michiko Yokote (Witch Craft Works) now handles series composition and script, replacing Shingo Nagai. Music composer Makoto Miyazaki (One Punch Man) returns.

Ending Theme
VTuber Marine Houshou (One Piece: Gyojin Tou-hen opening theme) performs the ending theme “BooooM!!!”, which is previewed in the promotional video.
Manga Background
Iwata and Aoki began serializing the manga in Shounen Jump+ in October 2021. Shueisha released the 18th volume on September 4 last year. The manga concluded its serialization with its 160th chapter in July 2025, after nearly four years. VIZ Media licensed the manga in English in June 2023 and released the 12th volume on March 17. The 13th volume is scheduled for June 16. Shueisha also simulpubishes the manga digitally on its Manga Plus platform.
