A Dream Robot Crossover

TV anime “Snowball Earth” and TV anime “Yuuki Bakuhatsu Burn Bravern” have come together in a spectacular robot collaboration. Newly released are an original illustration by Masami Obari (director of Burn Bravern) and an original manga by Tsujitsugu Yujiro, the creator of Snowball Earth.

About the Series

“Snowball Earth” is based on the manga by Tsujitsugu Yujiro, serialized in Shogakukan’s Monthly! Spirits, with the series accumulating over 800,000 copies in print. It is an SF adventure tale set on a frozen Earth.

“Yuuki Bakuhatsu Burn Bravern” is an original robot anime project directed by Masami Obari and produced by CygamesPictures. The story takes place in an era where humanoid armored weapons known as Titanostride (TS) have developed, and unfolds on the island of Oahu, Hawaii, where Japanese Ground Self-Defense Force member Isami Ao and U.S. Marine Lewis Smith meet.

Illustration and Manga Details

The collaboration illustration is drawn by Obari himself, featuring Yukio from “Snowball Earth” and Bravern from “Burn Bravern.” The two robots stand side by side, crossing their respective “robot one-sword style” and “courage one-sword style” in a powerful and rare visual.

The collaboration manga is drawn by Tsujitsugu. It depicts Bravern and pilot Isami suddenly arriving in the snow-covered world of “Snowball Earth.” Both Yukio and Bravern share a common trait: a passionate love for their pilots. When the two pilots, Tetsuo and Isami, meet, what kind of chemical reaction will occur?
