TEMPAL ~Item no Chikara~, the popular WEBTOON from REDICE STUDIO, is being adapted into a television anime and will begin broadcasting in October 2026. The main cast includes Tachibana Tatsumaru as Greed and Seto Asami as Yura. Alongside the announcement, a teaser visual and teaser PV have been released, accompanied by comments from the original creator and the cast.
TEMPAL ~Item no Chikara~ is a rise-to-legend fantasy by REDICE STUDIO, the team behind hits such as Ore dake Level Up na Ken (Solo Leveling) and Tououkuou. The story is set in the world’s greatest virtual reality game, SATISFY. A protagonist who acquires the legendary item “Faguma no Kisho” and changes jobs to become a legendary blacksmith aims to climb from a debt-ridden life to the top of 2 billion players.
As of May 2026, the series has accumulated 81.89 million hearts (likes) on the digital manga and novel service Piccoma. It also won the Piccoma AWARD 2023, selected from data of 19 million users, demonstrating its popularity.
The TV anime is directed by Kono Ayako (Gekijouban Sword Art Online -Progressive-), with series composition by Inohara Kenta (Youjo Senki), character design by Tanigawa Ryousuke (Maou 2099), sound direction by Iwanami Yoshiyuki, and music by Fujisawa Yoshimasa. Music production is by Pony Canyon, produce by EGG FIRM, and animation production by J.C.STAFF.
In addition, two main voice actors have been announced: Tachibana Tatsumaru as Greed and Seto Asami as Yura. Original creator REDICE, Tachibana, and Seto have all provided comments.
The teaser PV, released with the announcement, features cuts that evoke the beginning of Greed’s journey from the “weakest” to the “strongest.” It includes elements that build expectations for the series’ grand world, and viewers should note the first spoken lines from Greed and Yura.
The teaser visual depicts Greed in a way that conveys his charm as a blacksmith. Fans can look forward to future updates on how the items he creates will change the world.
