New Details Arrive One Month Before Broadcast

New information has arrived for the summer 2026 anime Skeleton Knight in Another World II (Skeleton Knight-sama, Tadaima Isekai e Odekake-chuu II). Broadcast details, first episode advance scene cuts, and a live special program featuring main cast members including Maeno Tomoaki and Fairouz Ai have been announced.

The series is an isekai fantasy based on the light novels by Hakari Enki (original story) and KeG (character illustrations), published by Overlap Novels. The story follows Arc, a player who falls asleep while playing an MMORPG and wakes up in the body of his in-game character – a skeleton knight in full armor. To avoid being killed as a monster, he decides to keep a low profile and enjoy the other world, but his kind heart leads him to repeatedly punish wrongdoing. The first season aired from April 7, 2022, and the series has surpassed 3.5 million copies in print and digital combined.

First Episode Advance Scene Cuts

One month ahead of the July 2026 broadcast, super‑early scene cuts from the first episode have been released. The images show not only Arc and his companions but also a mysterious armored figure and a beast, along with a glimpse of a blushing Arian – all hinting at intriguing developments.

Broadcast and Live Special

The first episode will receive an early terrestrial and streaming premiere on July 4 (Saturday) at 20:30 on AT-X, dAnime Store, and ABEMA. Immediately before that premiere, ABEMA will air a live special program as part of the “Overlap Bunko All‑Star Great Gathering SP 2026 Part 2” series, featuring a deep dive into Skeleton Knight in Another World II.

Arc’s voice actor Maeno Tomoaki, Arian’s Fairouz Ai, Ponta’s Hieda Nene, and Chiyome’s Tomita Miyu will appear live in the studio to explore the series. After the special, viewers can watch the first episode immediately.
