About Ranma 1/2
Ranma 1/2 is a beloved martial arts romantic comedy based on the immensely popular manga by Takahashi Rumiko, known for works like Urusei Yatsura, Maison Ikkoku, InuYasha, Kyoukai no RINNE, and MAO. The manga was serialized in “Shuukan Shounen Sunday” from issue 36 in 1987 to issue 12 in 1996 and continues to boast tremendous popularity even today.
The story kicks off when Saotome Genma, who was training in China, arrives at the Tendou household with his son, Ranma. However, instead of a young man, a giant panda and a cute girl show up! As a result of his training in China, Ranma developed a peculiar condition: splashing cold water on him turns him into a girl, while hot water turns him back into a boy. The story follows Ranma and Akane as they get caught up with a colorful cast of characters around them, experiencing tears, laughter, and sometimes even falling in love. A ‘complete new anime adaptation’ began airing in October 2024, and immediately after the broadcast of its 12th episode, the production of a second season was announced!

A paw print mark graces the second hand, while at the 6 o’clock position, a silhouette of Shampoo in her cat form (her transformation upon getting wet) is featured.

The back cover of each watch is engraved with an illustration of the respective character and an edition number from 1 to 2000, highlighting its limited nature. The watches come in a beautifully designed special box with elegant foil stamping.
