Sanrio’s beloved character My Melody is dressing up in a peach-colored dress with a peach-flower ribbon for a special summer afternoon tea event. The “My Melody Peach Tea Party” will be held at the Westin Hotel Sendai from July 18 to September 25, 2026.
The theme imagines My Melody visiting a summer tea party dressed in an elegant peach outfit. Sanrio has created exclusive illustrations of My Melody just for this event, decorating the table with her gentle, sophisticated world.
Sweets
The sweets lineup centers on a peach and raspberry parfait designed to resemble My Melody’s ears. Other treats include a peach mousse that will bring a smile to your face, fluffy marshmallows shaped like the character herself, an almond pound cake (one of My Melody’s favorites), and a peach shortcake served in a cool glass dish. In total, seven kinds of sweets brighten the tea party.
Savories
The savory menu incorporates local Sendai flavors with items such as a mini burger featuring Sendai beef, zunda mochi (sweet edamame rice cake), and sasa kamaboko (bamboo-leaf-shaped fish cake). A light summer touch is added with a peach espuma. Additionally, a special plate with Sendai’s famous beef tongue is offered on weekends only.
Each guest will receive a random acrylic stand (one of three designs) featuring the newly drawn My Melody illustration.
