From the popular series Puppet Sunsun comes a new line of post office-exclusive merchandise. Five items — including a mascot, letter set, and gama-guchi shoulder bag — will go on sale from August 12, 2026 at approximately 200 post offices nationwide and through the official online shop.
Puppet Sunsun Post Office Limited Goods
Puppet Sunsun centers on Sunsun, a blue, fluffy character who lives in the puppet country of Tohook. The 6-year-old boy spends his days with his best friend Nonnon and his grandfather Zonzon, sharing everyday moments through videos and manga posted on social media. The series has amassed over 3.5 million total followers across platforms, and also airs as short TV segments and a regular radio program.
The new lineup includes five items: Mascot (Letter), Gama-guchi (Sunsun), Stamp Set, Letter Set, and Gama-guchi Shoulder Bag. All feature a chic, subdued color palette.
Mascot (Letter) — ¥2,200
This Sunsun mascot holds a letter and comes with a ball chain, allowing it to be attached to bags or other accessories.
Gama-guchi (Sunsun) — ¥2,200
A gama-guchi pouch printed with Sunsun’s face and featuring foil-stamped logo details. The inner fabric also carries a print.
Stamp Set — ¥880
A set of four self-inking stamps featuring designs of Sunsun, Nonnon, and Zonzon.
Letter Set — ¥770
Includes 4 envelopes, 8 letter sheets, and 4 sealing stickers.
Gama-guchi Shoulder Bag — ¥3,850
This shoulder bag comes in a chic dark brown with foil-stamped logo. The inner fabric is also printed, and the shoulder strap is adjustable.
All five items will be available at post office counters, but the Gama-guchi Shoulder Bag will be sold at only 53 of the approximately 200 participating locations. The online shop “Post Office Net Shop” will carry the full lineup, with sales starting at 9:00 AM on August 12 (Wednesday).
