The third season of the TV anime Blue Lock has been officially announced under the title Blue Lock Neo Egoist League. Alongside the announcement, a super teaser visual featuring Yoichi Isagi and Michael Kaiser has been released, as well as new character visuals for both players. A comment from Kazuki Ura, the voice actor for Yoichi Isagi, has also arrived. Additionally, a special movie was unveiled to celebrate June 9, 2026—”Blue Lock Day.”
Blue Lock is a TV anime based on the manga serialized in Weekly Shonen Magazine, which won the 45th Kodansha Manga Award in the shonen category. As of June 2026, the series has surpassed 60 million copies in cumulative worldwide circulation. The first season aired from October 2022 to March 2023 on TV Asahi, the first theatrical film Blue Lock -Episode Nagi- was released in April 2024, and the second season Blue Lock VS. U-20 JAPAN aired from October 2024. A continuation of the TV series had been previously announced.
Now, with the formal title Blue Lock Neo Egoist League for the third season, the egoists who survived the “Blue Lock” project after their big victory against the U-20 Japan national team will challenge a new stage that sweeps the world into a frenzy of excitement. The “Neo Egoist League” begins—a battle to prove one’s own originality against the world’s finest “geniuses” from Europe’s top five leagues, all aiming to become the world’s number one striker.
The super teaser visual depicts Yoichi Isagi (CV: Kazuki Ura) and Michael Kaiser (CV: Mamoru Miyano). New character visuals for Isagi and Kaiser have also been unveiled.
Ahead of the third season broadcast, Isagi’s voice actor Ura commented: “The Neo Egoist League arc began in the magazine at the same time as the recording for the first episode of the TV anime Blue Lock.
