The TV anime Nintama Rantarou is teaming up with the Umeda Sky Building for a special collaboration event running from June 11 to July 12, 2026. To mark the occasion, original bromide (photo card) prints featuring the characters in starry motifs will be released through the Entertainment Print service.
Series Background
Based on the ninja gag manga by Amako Soubee, Nintama Rantarou follows students of the Ninja Academy—Rantarou, Shinbe, Kirimaru—as they train to become top-tier ninja. The TV series first aired in 1993 and continues to be loved across generations. In December 2024, the theatrical film Gekijouban Nintama Rantarou: Dokutake Ninja Tai Saikyou no Gunshi was released, adapting the popular novel and featuring a more serious storyline that begins with Doi Hansuke disappearing after a duel.
