A new figure of Gotoh Hitori (Bocchi-chan) in a maid outfit has joined the lineup for the Bocchi the Rock! series. Pre-orders are now open at hobby shops, general retailers, and online stores nationwide.
Bocchi the Rock! is a four-panel manga by Hamaji Aki, serialized in Houbunsha’s Manga Time Kirara MAX. The story follows the extremely shy and gloomy girl Gotoh Hitori (nicknamed Bocchi-chan) as she meets the unique members of the band Kessoku Band—Ijichi Nijika, Yamada Ryou, and Kita Ikuyo—through her guitar playing and grows through her experiences.
The TV anime began airing in October 2022 and quickly became a hit. The full album Kessoku Band released by the group topped the Oricon 2023 Digital Album Ranking (by sales) and the Billboard JAPAN Year-End Download Album Chart. The theatrical compilation films Bocchi the Rock! Re: and Re:Re: were released in June and August 2024 respectively, and a second TV anime season has also been announced.
Now, Gotoh Hitori in the maid uniform from the Shuka Festival appears as a DIGSTA figure, a line known for its accessible price and size. The clean black-and-white maid outfit contrasts charmingly with Bocchi-chan’s signature gloomy expression, creating an adorable figure.
