New merchandise for the anime Haikyuu!! will go on sale at Animate stores nationwide from August 22, 2026. At the same time, the Animate “Haikyuu!!” Cool Down Fair will be held.
Animate “Haikyuu!!” Cool Down Fair
Haikyuu!! is a manga series by Furudate Haruichi set in the world of high school volleyball. The TV anime first aired in 2014 and ran through the fourth season in December 2020. The theatrical sequel, Haikyuu!! The Battle of the Garbage Dump, was released on February 16, 2024, and surpassed 200 billion yen in worldwide box office revenue. Furthermore, in 2027, the film Haikyuu!! VS Little Giant (featuring Karasuno and Ougai High Schools) will premiere, and a special anime, Haikyuu!! The Place Where the Monsters Go (covering the battle between Fukurodani Academy and Mujinzaka High School), has been slated for TV broadcast, keeping the franchise hot.
Animate “Haikyuu!!” Cool Down Fair
The new merchandise uses newly drawn “cool down” themed visuals capturing six characters – Hinata Shouyou, Kageyama Tobio, Kuroo Tetsurou, Kozume Kenma, Bokuto Koutarou, and Akaashi Keiji – in relaxed post-practice moments. The lineup includes Aurora Acrylic Stands, Urupuru Character Badge Collection, Clear Files, and Clear Sheet Collection.
From August 22 to September 23, 2026, the Animate “Haikyuu!!” Cool Down Fair will be held at all Animate stores and Animate Online Shop. During the period, customers who purchase or pre-order qualifying Haikyuu!! merchandise totaling ¥1,100 (tax incl.) or more, or who buy/order audio/visual products (with a minimum deposit of ¥1,100 tax incl.) per item, will receive one bonus illustration sheet (6 types, randomly assigned).
