From June 20 to July 5, 2026, the magmabooks in Toranomon, Tokyo, will host the “Hyakki Yakoushou” Reproduction Original Art Exhibition ~Flower Calendar~. This exhibition, themed around the four seasons of flowers, will feature reproduction original art and exclusive limited-edition goods.
About the Series
Created by Ima Ichiko, Hyakki Yakoushou is a fantasy horror suspense manga that began serialization in 1995. Known for its delicate and elegant art style, the series explores human karma and sorrow. With 32 volumes published to date, the manga has exceeded 7 million copies in cumulative circulation. A light anime adaptation began airing and streaming in April 2026.
Titled ~Flower Calendar~, the exhibition centers on seasonal flowers. Alongside newly drawn illustrations by the original author, the display will include reproduction original art that highlights flowers and plants featured in the manga.
At the venue, visitors can order reproduction original art for purchase. A selection of original goods, designed with a Japanese aesthetic to match the series’ world, will also be available. These include “bunko” (incense cards in business-card size that transfer fragrance to paper or cloth) and ceramic tumblers made from Mino ware, with glaze hand-applied by artisans. Additionally, those who purchase reproduction art will receive a letterpress print postcard, and for every 3,000 yen (tax included) spent on original goods, one randomly selected special mini card (four types) will be given away.
