The popular capsule toy series “ART IN THE POCKET Moomin” returns with its sixth volume, launching at capsule toy corners across Japan from June 26, 2026. Each capsule costs 500 yen (tax included).
Created by Swedish-speaking Finnish author Tove Jansson (1914–2001), the Moomin universe has charmed readers worldwide through novels, comics, picture books, and their many adaptations into merchandise, attractions, and animation. Kitan Club’s “ART IN THE POCKET” line brings the inhabitants of Moominvalley to life as high-quality, pocket-sized art figures.
Vol. 6 features four characters: Snufkin, Stinky, Fillyjonk, and the Muskrat — the last being sculpted for the very first time in this series. The Muskrat figure is based on an illustration from the novel Comet in Moominland, faithfully reproducing details such as the cake and spoon in its hand and the texture of its fur. Translucent parts are used for the water element, giving the small figure a rich, detailed finish.
Snufkin’s figure includes fine detailing on his hat decorations, while Stinky’s entire body features meticulous fur sculpting. Fillyjonk is designed to be displayed alongside the Fillyjonk children figures from the previous “ART IN THE POCKET Moomin Vol.5,” allowing fans to expand the Moominvalley scene.
