The anime film Super Kaguya-hime! is teaming up with art space operator and GALLERY for a special collaboration cafe themed around a summer festival. The cafe will open in Tokyo, Osaka, Nagoya, Fukuoka, and Sendai from August 1, 2026, offering character-inspired food and drinks.

About the Film

Super Kaguya-hime! is the first feature-length original anime film directed by Kiyomoto Yamashita, known for his opening animation work on Jujutsu Kaisen Season 1 and Chainsaw Man. The project is billed as a “music animation project,” with songs provided by Vocaloid-P producers including ryo (supercell), kz (livetune), 40mP, HoneyWorks, Aqu3ra, and yuigot. The film began worldwide exclusive streaming on Netflix on January 22, 2026, and had a theatrical run starting February 20. Originally planned for one week, the run was extended due to fan and theater demand. A special format screening and a re-release of the standard version are scheduled for September 18.

The voice cast features Yuuko Natsuyoshi as Kaguya, Anna Nagase as Sakaeri Iroha, and Saori Hayami as Tsukimi Yachiyo, who also performs the main theme “Ex-Otogibanashi.”
