The official website for Kabushikigaisha Magi-Lumière 2nd Season (also known as Magilumiere Magical Girls Inc. Season 2) has announced two new cast members, the opening theme, and a second promotional video. The anime is set to premiere on Nippon TV at 1:05 a.m. on July 5.
Voice actors Manaka Iwami (known for Fruits Basket) and Masaya Fukunishi (Kaijuu 8-gou) join the cast as Sakae Tounomori and Hibiki Yamimori, respectively.
The opening theme song, titled “Latte Magic,” is performed by music producer syudou (who worked on the Chainsaw Man ending theme) and vocalist Yuusei Yagi. The track is previewed in the newly released second promotional video.
Staff changes for the second season include Toshinori Fukushima (Major S3) taking over as director at J.C.Staff, replacing Masahiro Hiraoka. Michiko Yokote (Witch Craft Works) now handles series composition and script, replacing Shingo Nagai. Music composer Makoto Miyazaki (One Punch Man) returns.
The original manga by Sekka Iwata and Yuu Aoki began serialization in Shounen Jump+ in October 2021. Shueisha released the 18th volume last September. The manga concluded with its 160th chapter in July 2025 after a nearly four-year run.
VIZ Media licensed the manga in English in June 2023 and released the 13th volume on June 16. The 14th volume is due August 18. Shueisha also simultaneously publishes the manga digitally on its Manga Plus platform.
