What is “Kaya-chan wa Kowakunai”?
Kaya-chan wa Kowakunai is a new kind of horror action series where the most powerful little girl dominates a kindergarten. It’s based on the manga by Yuri Taro, serialized on Shinshosha’s web manga site “Kurage Bunch.” The TV anime is directed by Tomohiko Ito (credited as博史池畠) and animated by East Fish Studio.
Kaya-chan, who attends Hanamugi Kindergarten, possesses incredibly strong psychic powers. She secretly beats up “ghosts” that creep up on her friends and family, but since no one understands her actions, she’s treated as a problem child. However, when her homeroom teacher, Chie-sensei, discovers her secret, Kaya-chan’s kindergarten life begins to change. Today, yet again, Kaya-chan’s punches will explode against the eerie and malicious apparitions that appear one after another.

Streaming: The series will have an advance stream on d-Anime Store and ABEMA starting January 11 at 18:00. General streaming on platforms like AnimeFesta, Hulu, Prime Video, and others will begin sequentially from January 16.
