Swiss watch brand Tendence has unveiled a new collaboration timepiece commemorating the 55th anniversary of Kamen Rider. The “Kamen Rider 1 55th Anniversary Collaboration Model” is a limited edition of just 255 units worldwide, each with a serial number engraved on the case back. Reservations began on June 18, 2026, with the watch set to release on July 17.
Tendence’s partnership with the Kamen Rider series started in 2025 with a 25th anniversary model for Kamen Rider Kuuga (limited to 200 pieces), followed by similar anniversary editions for Kamen Rider Agito (25th) and Kamen Rider Kabuto (20th). The new 55th anniversary model continues this tradition as a special commemorative piece.
The watch is designed to recreate the look of Kamen Rider 1’s transformation belt, the Typhoon. It is based on Tendence’s “KingDome” model, which features a rotating dial. The dial mimics the windmill dynamo at the center of the Typhoon belt, spinning with the movement of the wearer’s arm.
Three-dimensional indexes and a domed crystal give the watch a classic, substantial feel. While playful in its homage to Kamen Rider 1, the design maintains a cohesive, refined look suitable for adults.
Beneath the rotating dial, the logos of Tendence and Tachibana Racing are positioned so they peek through as the dial moves. The oversized case—typical of Tendence—creates a strong presence on the wrist, while the silicone strap and lightweight nylon case ensure comfortable wear.
The case back is engraved with a special 55th anniversary logo depicting Kamen Rider 1, along with an individual serial number (out of 255). The watch also comes in a specially designed sleeve bearing Kamen Rider 1’s image and the anniversary logo, making it a collector-focused set that feels special even when stored.
