In recent years, female voice actors have expanded their activities beyond anime dubbing and film voiceovers into idol and acting roles. 2026 has already seen a wealth of photo books that capture the charm of these talents. Here, we introduce 11 photo books released in the first half of 2026.
野中ここな『うたかた』
Nonaka Kokona, who was active as a member of Sakura Gakuin from May 2018 to August 2021 and has voiced roles in TV anime such as Onipan! (Tsuyukusa) and Love Live! Hasunosora Girls’ School Idol Club (Murakami Sayaka), released her first photo book, Utakata. The book was shot in Nagasaki Prefecture, where she was born and raised, fulfilling her wish to create a meaningful volume in a place important to her. She turned 20 on January 28.

小日向美香『小日向美香1st写真集 まなざし』
Kohinata Mika, known for her role as Nagasaki Soyo in BanG Dream! It’s MyGO!!!!! and other works, released her first photo book, Kohinata Mika 1st Photobook Manazashi. The book was shot on location in Kyoto and Shiga, following Kohinata as she visits sacred places related to anime series she holds dear. The photobook is edited and produced by Seiyuu Grand Prix, which has handled many voice actor photo books. The regular edition cover features a shot of Kohinata in an adult one-piece dress gazing at the camera, while the Info Square limited cover shows her in a yukata. Both covers emphasize her gaze, fitting the title “Manazashi” (gaze).

My first photo book is finally happening…! I’m so happy that I can fulfill my dream of publishing a photo book with Seiyuu Grand Prix, who I always owe a lot to! I used to be really stiff in front of the camera, but I was able to take on the shoot with confidence, wearing many costumes and great hair and makeup, thanks to everyone’s support. 鈴木愛奈『Crossing』
Suzuki Aina, who voices Ohara Mari in Love Live! Sunshine!! and Jashin-chan in Jashin-chan Dropkick and also works as a solo artist, released her photo book Crossing. This is her first photo book in about eight years, capturing her transition from her 20s to her 30s. It features a growth portrait shot in two locations: Tokyo and Okinawa, including scenes of things she loves, expressions she wants to show, and a slightly more mature look.

The shooting location was the classic photobook destination of Okinawa. The book is packed with first-photobook-style scenes and costumes, from refreshing, open-feeling shots fitting the southern islands to natural, unguarded moments and a melancholic expression.

Suzumoto Akiho, known for her roles as Arisugawa Natsuha in Shiny Colors and Serina in Blue Archive, released her first photo book Akiichiban. The location chosen was Nagano Prefecture, a place she had long wanted to visit. The book takes her to sightseeing spots such as Zenkoji Temple and the National Astronomical Observatory’s Nobeyama facility, while also fulfilling her wish to shoot at a hot spring town and by a river.

A photo book is work that expresses without using the voice, so I shot with a little nervousness and lots of excitement! The location was Nagano Prefecture, a place I’ve always wanted to go! As the shoot progressed, I once again realized just how many people support me. I’ve found many treasures that I can proudly say are mine, and I believe this photo book will become another such treasure. This book was made possible by everyone’s support and encouragement. 青木陽菜『Nostalgia』
Aoki Hina, who voices Kaname Rāna in BanG Dream! It’s MyGO!!!!! and Harona Walker in Cardfight!! Vanguard will+Dress Season 2 and released her first album Letters on October 1, 2025, published her first photobook Nostalgia. The shoot was centered on her hometown of Miyagi Prefecture, visiting places connected to her and spots from her memories. The book includes yukata shots, natural expressions in loungewear, a school uniform, and a black dress showing a mature side rarely seen.

Since the photobook was shot in my hometown of Miyagi Prefecture, I suggested locations that are meaningful to me! A café I used to go to with friends in high school, my recommended sightseeing spot “Matsushima,” and the familiar Sendai Station…! 坂倉花『Blooming』
Sakakura Hana, who voices Onitsuka Tomari in Love Live! Superstar!! and is a member of the school idol group Liella!, released her first photo book Blooming. The book is themed around a “belated school trip.” The title Blooming carries Sakakura’s wish to “continue blooming in my own way and make everyone’s smiles bloom too.” The pages are filled with vibrant, lively shots that live up to the name.

I am delighted to announce my first photo book! During my high school years, the school trip couldn’t be held as usual due to restrictions, so with the idea of “I want to go again,” we shot in four cities: Osaka, Kyoto, Nara, and Miyakojima, under the theme of a belated school trip. The atmosphere was always cheerful during the shoot, and I think we captured many natural expressions. This is my first photo book, something I always dreamed of. It’s a special book full of my true self in this moment, without trying to be too grown-up. I hope everyone will pick it up and share the trip memory full of youth with me!

Shizaki Kanon, who plays the keyboard in the BanG Dream! band Roselia and voices the character Shirokane Rinko, released her first photo book unplugged. The title means “the unplugged, natural self.” As the name suggests, the book is packed with Shizaki’s candid expressions. The shoot took place in two locations: Tokyo and the resort town of Karuizawa, which she had always admired. It includes natural shots revealing her true expressions and daring lingerie cuts, showcasing her appeal.

伊藤彩沙『アヤサージュ』
Ito Ayasa, known for her roles as Ichigaya Arisa in BanG Dream! and Kamoshita Suzu in Medalist, released her third photo book, Ayasage, which marks the last one of her 20s. About three and a half years after her second photobook, this latest work was shot in Singapore and Bintan Island, Indonesia. At the timing of her late 20s, the book overflows with Ito’s challenge and desire for expression, including swimsuit and lingerie cuts.

A third book? Really? KADOKAWA, who handled my second photobook, proposed releasing a photobook at the end of my 20s. I decided to go for body shaping for the shoot, so I went to the gym and ate healthy, getting closer to my ideal figure. The locations were Singapore, which is familiar to me, and Indonesia’s Bintan Island, where I went on my first overseas trip at age three. I feel destiny in being able to shoot in countries I have a connection with. This third photobook presents a slightly more grown-up me with a theme of adult sweetness. Please receive this final photo book of my 20s!
