Additional Cast and Staff Revealed
The official website for the original anime movie The Ribbon Hero has announced additional cast members, the theme song, and a second trailer. The film, based on Osamu Tezuka’s manga Ribbon no Kishi (also known as Princess Knight), will premiere worldwide exclusively on Netflix on August 8.

Theme Song
The Japanese-Korean group Girls Archives. will perform the opening theme song titled “Reborn,” which was previewed in the second trailer.
Staff
Yuuki Igarashi (Star Wars: Visions) is directing the anime at Outline. Issei Arakaki (Vlad Love) is adapting the original character designs by Kei Mochizuki.
Manga Background
Tezuka serialized the adventure fantasy manga in Shoujo Club magazine from January 1953 to January 1956. Kodansha published the third and final volume in June 1958. Mushi Production previously adapted the manga into a 52-episode television anime that aired from Spring 1967 to Spring 1968.
