About “Osananajimi to wa Rabukome ni Naranai”
“Osananajimi to wa Rabukome ni Naranai” is a cutting-edge childhood friend love comedy based on the manga by Mimasu Shinya, serialized in Kodansha’s “Magazine Pocket”. It depicts the sweet, frustrating, and hard-to-confess love affairs with childhood friends. The story follows first-year high school student E-yuu (real name Kaiyonosuke), who is deeply obsessed with love comedies, especially those involving childhood friends. His current dilemma? His childhood friends Shio (Mizuho Shio) and Akari (Hiaki Akari) are just too cute. E-yuu knows that “in reality, love comedies don’t happen with childhood friends,” but both Shio and Akari have feelings for him… The series comically and delicately weaves the love patterns spun by these childhood friends.

Episode 6 Synopsis: “Even at the Summer Sea, Even if You Don’t Look, Even if You Stay Up All Night, It Doesn’t Become a Love Comedy”
E-yuu, Shio, Akari, and Runako head to the beach. E-yuu can’t bring himself to look directly at the three girls in their swimsuits, but on the flip side, he’s tossed around by their aggressive appeals.

Evening falls—E-yuu and Akari end up missing the bus back, leaving just the two of them.

Forced to walk the mountain path to the village, E-yuu carries Akari on his back as she’s secretly terrified.

Akari realizes that ‘E-yuu hasn’t changed since childhood’ and her heart flutters. When they finally reach the inn, the two are assigned to share a room…
