Zombie no Afureta Sekai de Ore dake ga Osowarenai Anime Starts January 2027; Teaser PV Released

The TV anime adaptation of Zombie no Afureta Sekai de Ore dake ga Osowarenai (Only I Won’t Be Attacked in a World Overflowing with Zombies) is set to begin broadcasting in January 2027. Alongside the announcement, a teaser PV has been released, giving fans a first look at the series.

The original novel series began serialization on a user-generated novel site in 2013 by Uraji Rokuro, and was later published in print by Nox Novels in 2016. A manga adaptation by Masuda Chihiro started in 2021 and continues serialization in COMIC raguchuu.

The story follows a sudden zombie outbreak that plunges the world into chaos. Amid the panic, one man—Takeshi Yūsuke—finds himself uniquely immune to zombie attacks. In a world where ethics and morality have vanished, Takeshi gains absolute safety and, rather than becoming a hero, begins acting on his own desires. The series is described as a zombie panic action story that exposes the essence of life and sexuality through its innovative premise and relentless pacing.

The teaser PV showcases the lead voice actors: Kato Wataru as Takeshi Yūsuke and Higashi Yuno as the heroine Fujino Mizuki. The video offers a glimpse of their intense performances in challenging roles.
