The official website for Gaikotsu Kishi-sama, Tadaima Isekai e Odekakechuu (Skeleton Knight in Another World) has revealed additional cast members, a second promotional video, and a key visual for the upcoming second season. The new season is set to premiere on July 6 at 10:00 p.m. on AT-X, followed by Tokyo MX and BS11.

Staff and Production
Katsumi Ono (A-Rank Party wo Ridatsu shita Ore wa, Moto Oshiego-tachi to Meikyuu Shinbu wo Mezasu.) is directing the second season at Aura Studio. Toshizou Nemoto (Log Horizon) is handling series composition. Tooru Imanishi (Shuumatsu Nani Shitemasu ka? Isogashii desu ka? Sukutte Moratte Ii desu ka?) is designing the characters. Eba (Dead Mount Death Play) and Tsubasa Itou (Kaiko sareta Ankoku Heishi (30-dai) no Slow na Second Life) are composing the music.
The season is produced by Studio KAI and HORNETS. The first season aired in 12 episodes in Spring 2022 and was streamed by Crunchyroll with subtitles and an English dub.
Series Background
Ennki Hakari began writing the original light novel on the Shousetsuka ni Narou website in October 2014. Overlap started publishing the novel with illustrations by KeG in June 2015, releasing the tenth volume in March 2022. The series has a cumulative 3.5 million copies in circulation, including digital editions.
A manga adaptation drawn by Akira Sawano began serialization on Overlap’s Comic Gardo web portal in February 2017. The 15th volume went on sale on June 20.
Seven Seas Entertainment has licensed both the light novel and manga in English, publishing the tenth novel volume in April 2023 and the 14th manga volume on March 24.
