「Mo Dao Zu Shi MULTI CHARM & ICONIQUE HAIR OBJET MAJESTE + KANZASHI」

What is “Mo Dao Zu Shi”?

Mo Dao Zu Shi (which can be translated as Grandmaster of Demonic Cultivation) is a BL fantasy that exploded in popularity after its serialization began in 2015 on the Chinese novel site “Jinjiang Literature City.” Its passionate fanbase has propelled it into various media, including anime and live-action drama adaptations. The story is set in a fictional ancient China where cultivators who use magical arts battle demons and evil spirits. It follows the turbulent fates and profound bond between the two main characters, Wei Wuxian and Lan Wangji. The intricate, epic plot and deeply compelling characters have resonated with audiences worldwide.

The “Grand Fantasy Radio Drama ‘Mo Dao Zu Shi’” is a faithful Japanese-language radio drama adaptation of this very work. It stars Suzuki Tatsuhisa as Wei Wuxian and Hino Satoshi as Lan Wangji, portraying the deep and passionate bond between these two polar opposites.

Versatile Charm & Hair Jewelry from MAYLA

This new “Mo Dao Zu Shi MULTI CHARM & ICONIQUE HAIR OBJET MAJESTE + KANZASHI” from MAYLA captures the essence of the series’ world. The real appeal is its 3-way functionality—you can enjoy it as a multi-charm, a “majeste” hair ornament, or a traditional kanzashi (hairpin), depending on your mood and the occasion. The tassels are also interchangeable, allowing you to attach it to your favorite bag as a stylish accent. When used as a hair accessory, it promises to add a cute and easy touch to your hairstyle, whether you have long or short hair.

The Wei Wuxian Model

The “Wei Wuxian Model” depicts a black rabbit with a red ribbon chasing a white rabbit. The design features a recreation of the “Yin Hu Fu” (Tiger Seal) at its center and the ghost flute “Chenqing,” accented with a sparkling red stone. The flowing ribbon adds a touch of brilliance, and the hairpin stick, modeled after his sword “Suibian,” makes the character feel close at hand.

A delightful detail for fans is the line engraved on the back: “Nante namae nan da yo, kono kyoku?” (“What’s the name of this song?”), adding a layer of storytelling.

The Lan Wangji Model

The “Lan Wangji Model” features a white rabbit with a light blue ribbon chasing a black rabbit against the surface of the moon, which is engraved with a guqin (zither) pattern. The design also incorporates imagery reminiscent of the view from the round window of the Quiet Room in the Cloud Recesses. A ribbon that sways like his mo’e (headband) adds elegance, while the hairpin stick modeled after his sword “Bichen” brings the character closer to you. The back is engraved with the iconic line, “Kyokumei wa ‘Bousen’.” (“The song’s name is ‘Wangxian'”).
