The “Nakano x Suginami x Toshima Anime & Manga Festival 2025,” hosted by Tokyo’s Nakano City, Suginami City, and Toshima City, will be held sequentially in November 2025. Here’s information on events planned for Nakano City, including stamp rallies, photo sessions, shows, and workshops.

The “Nakano x Suginami x Toshima Anime & Manga Festival 2025” is a specialized branding project focusing on manga and anime. It’s jointly organized by Nakano City, Suginami City, Toshima City, and the Tokyo Chamber of Commerce and Industry, aiming to revitalize and energize these areas by collectively showcasing the charms of the three districts. These districts are known for their concentration of facilities, industries, and cultures related to manga, anime, and subcultures, and this project builds on their unique regional characteristics.

Kimi to Idol Precure♪ Show and Quiz Rally

Get ready, Precure fans! The latest installment in the beloved Precure series, Kimi to Idol Precure♪, is coming to Nakano! The “Kimi to Idol Precure♪ Show” will be held for two performances at the small hall of Nakano ZERO. Participation is free, and applications are being accepted until October 28th. Due to high demand, a lottery will be held if there are too many applicants, so be sure to apply early!

Leading up to the show, a “Kimi to Idol Precure♪ Quiz Rally” will also be held from November 9th to 15th. Answer quizzes set up at five locations around the district to win original merchandise! Please note that this event is on a first-come, first-served basis with a limited number of participants.

Gaiking Legend of Daiku-Maryu 20th Anniversary Fan Meeting

Gaiking Legend of Daiku-Maryu is a true masterpiece of super robot anime by Toei Animation. Created in 2005 as a completely original work, it builds upon the original Daiku-Maryu Gaiking that aired in 1976. This is a must-attend for robot anime fans!

The “Gaiking Legend of Daiku-Maryu 20th Anniversary Fan Meeting” will take place at Nakano ZERO’s small hall, featuring a special talk by various guests involved in the production, including Sanjo Riku, Obari Masami, and Sakurada Hiroyuki, who will delve into the anime’s enduring charm.

Furthermore, Psychic Lover, who performed the opening theme, will hold a mini-live concert! This event is by pre-application only, with 480 lucky individuals invited for free via a lottery. Applications are open until October 28th.

Cardfight!! Vanguard Event

The “Cardfight!! Vanguard Event” will be held at Nakano ZERO Nishi-kan. Enjoy a full day of Vanguard with planetarium commentary by voice actors from the Cardfight!! Vanguard TV anime, along with card battles, “how-to-play” classes, and various attractions!

Anime Production Experience Workshop

At the “Anime Production Experience Workshop,” held at Nakano ZERO Nishi-kan, you can participate in vocal exercises and post-recording (dubbing) experiences led by voice actress Misato. There will also be workshops to learn the basic techniques of animators and how to draw anime and manga. Please note that only the voice acting experience workshop requires pre-application, with registration open until October 28th.
