Netflix Japan has revealed additional staff members and a second teaser promotional video for the Cyberpunk: Edgerunners 2 anime on Tuesday. The 10-episode series is scheduled to premiere worldwide on Netflix in Fall 2026.

Kai Ikarashi is directing the anime at Trigger. Masahiko Ootsuka and Bartosz Sztybor are penning the script. Ichigo Kanno is also designing the characters.
Produced by Trigger, the 10-episode first season aired in September 2022. Netflix streamed the anime exclusively worldwide, with dubs and subtitles in multiple languages.
The anime series is based on CD Projekt’s Cyberpunk 2077 video game, which adapts the 1988 tabletop role-playing game Cyberpunk 2020. The game was released on Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One in November 2020 and on Xbox Series X and PlayStation 5 in February 2022.
