The story follows a boy named Ryuka who dreams of becoming a “Gakushi” (music master). Amid a harsh fate, he awakens a special power called “Hatsuga” (sprouting) and grows through encounters with companions. The “sounds” Ryuka sees and his passion for becoming a Gakushi fuse with intense battles.
The music, central to the theme of sound, is composed by Koto Hitomi, who also handled the music for the Kyoto Animation-produced TV anime 20 Seiki Denki Mokuroku -Eureka Evrica-. The soundtrack incorporates live instruments to dramatically enhance the characters’ emotions and powerful battle scenes.
The teaser PV showcases Ryuka’s meeting with Zoe, a girl who shares the same “Eda tsuki” ability, and his growth through conflict. The video combines Shirogumi’s high-impact CG action with meticulously crafted background music that complements the world.
