New official merchandise from Sousou no Frieren brings the world of the anime to life with two reversible sukajan jackets. One design features Frieren and Himmel, while the other showcases Aura. Both jackets are now available for preorder through the AKROS official website and Animate Online, with shipments expected to begin in late July 2026.
The series, based on the manga by Yamada Kanehito (story) and Abe Tsukasa (art), serialized in Shogakukan’s Weekly Shonen Sunday, follows the elf mage Frieren and her new companions as they journey through a world where the Demon King has already been defeated. The first anime season aired from September 2023 to March 2024, earning widespread acclaim. Season 2 ran from January to March 2026, with Kitagawa Tomoya as director and Saitou Keiichirou as assistant director, produced by Madhouse. A third season covering the Golden Land arc is set to premiere in October 2027.
Frieren & Himmel Jacket
The “Sukajan Frieren & Himmel” jacket features intricate 3D embroidery of Frieren’s staff and Himmel’s sword. The front side displays the title on the chest, while the back is embroidered with the logo “The Mage of the Hero Party That Defeated the Demon King” and a design inspired by the series. The reversible side offers a full-color graphic of Frieren and Himmel on the back, with embroidery of a Mimic and the phrase “It’s dark, I’m scared” on the chest.
Aura Jacket
The “Sukajan Aura” jacket recreates Aura’s Scale of Obedience with 3D embroidery. The front features logos reading “One of the Seven Sages of Destruction” and “Aura the Guillotine,” while the back is embroidered with a design symbolizing the magic “Auserlese” (the magic of obedience), including scales and horns. The reversible side adds embroidery of the Scale of Obedience and horns on the chest, with a full-color graphic of Aura the Guillotine on the back.
