Finnish lifestyle brand Moomin Arabia is expanding its glassware lineup with a new collection titled “Mystical Forest” (Mystical Forest – Mystical Forest). Inspired by Tove Jansson’s 1948 novel Tanoshii Muumin Ikka, the range brings the enchanting world of the Moomins to life through transparent glass and cool, forest-inspired hues. New kitchen items will roll out from July 29, 2026, via the official online store and select retailers.
About Moomin Arabia
Arabia was founded in 1873 in the Arabia district of Helsinki, Finland, and has been a beloved part of Finnish daily life for nearly 150 years. The Moomin Arabia collaboration began in the 1950s, and since the early 1990s, designer Tove Slotte has created illustrations based on Tove Jansson’s original drawings, collaging them into the brand’s signature designs.
The Mystical Forest Collection
First launched in 2024 as Moomin Arabia’s first full lineup of glassware, Mystical Forest is manufactured at the Iittala glass factory in Finland, which boasts over a century of craftsmanship. The collection features delicate embossing and fine details in clear, green, and blue tones, capturing the magical atmosphere of the Moomin story. The glassware shimmers differently depending on the light and setting.

Kitchen Towel 45×65cm – Features scenes from the novel, including Thingumy and Bob showing the King’s Ruby to Moomintroll, and the jungle transformation caused by the magic hat.

Availability
The collection will be sold at the Moomin Arabia official online store, Iittala Arabia Daimaru Tokyo, Iittala stores, and other retail outlets. Note that the kitchen towel, pot holder, and mitt will not be available at Iittala stores.
