Soara and the Monster’s House TV Anime Adaptation Announced for 2027; Cast and Staff Revealed

The manga Soara and the Monster’s House (ソアラと魔物の家) is getting a TV anime adaptation, set to air in 2027. Alongside the announcement, an ultra teaser visual and an ultra teaser PV have been released. The voice cast includes Ikumi Hasegawa as Soara and Ayumu Murase as Kiriku. Original creator Hidenori Yamaji also contributed a commemorative illustration for the anime adaptation.

About the Original Manga

Soara and the Monster’s House is an otherworldly architectural adventure tale by Hidenori Yamaji, serialized in Shogakukan’s Sunday Webry. The story follows Soara, a girl raised solely to fight monsters, who loses her purpose when war suddenly ends. Wandering in despair, she meets Kiriku, a dwarf who calls himself a “demon world architect,” and his companions who build houses for monsters. This encounter gradually changes Soara’s fate. Six volumes of the manga are currently on sale, with the seventh volume set for release on August 10.

Staff and Production

The anime is directed by Takaharu Ozaki, with animation production by FelixFilm. Series composition is by Ayumu Hisao, character design by Tomoko Iwasa, and music by Hinako Tsubakiyama.

To celebrate the TV anime adaptation, the official X (formerly Twitter) account is running a giveaway for three signed visual posters featuring Soara and Kiriku. Additionally, wood carving creator “Poppo no Kiboriya-san” will sequentially release behind-the-scenes footage of wood carving works inspired by the series.
