The Crunchyroll Showcase at Anime Expo 2026 brought news for the upcoming television anime adaptation of Fuuta Kimura‘s action sci-fi manga Unmei no Makimodoshi (Fate Rewinder). The event revealed the main cast, additional staff, a teaser visual, and a teaser promotional video. The anime is scheduled to premiere in April 2027 on TV Asahi’s IMAnimation programming block.

Manga Background
Fuuta Kimura originally published the action sci-fi manga as a one-shot in Bessatsu CoroCoro Comic magazine in April 2021. The manga began serializing in Monthly CoroCoro Comic magazine in January 2022. Shogakukan published the 12th volume on April 28.
Yen Press licensed the manga in English in April 2026 and will release the first volume on October 27.
The teaser promotional video was also shown at the event.
