Summer anime Mushoku Tensei III: Isekai Ittara Honki Dasu (Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation Season 3) is set to premiere on July 4, 2026, with a special back-to-back broadcast of its first two episodes. Background
Based on the light novel by Rizefuna no Te (published by MF Books/KADOKAWA), Mushoku Tensei is a landmark isekai reincarnation fantasy that has sold over 18 million copies in print. The story follows a 34-year-old NEET who dies in a traffic accident and is reborn as a baby in a world of swords and magic. As the boy Rudeus Greyrat, he uses the memories and regrets of his past life to live seriously this time, facing encounters and trials in a grand adventure.
After the first season in January 2021 and the second season in July 2023, the grown Rudeus has overcome many hardships and begun to build a new family. Season 3, directed by Shibuya Ryousuke and animated by Studio Bind, delves deeper into his life.
Episode Synopses
Episode 1: “Burn, Mad Dog”
In Season 1, the “Fittoa Region Displacement Incident” caused by a magical disaster sent Eris and Rudeus to the Demon Continent. After a harsh journey, they return home, but along the way Eris realizes her own inadequacy when she fails to protect Rudeus from the Dragon God Orsted. She leaves his side—all to gain the strength worthy of standing beside Rudeus, and to cut down Orsted.
Arriving at the Sword Sanctum with Ghislaine, Eris begins training under the Sword God Gal Farion. There she meets Nina, a girl also training as a Sword Saint. Clashing with those around her, Eris is driven by killing intent and impatience, swinging her sword relentlessly in her quest to become stronger.
Episode 2: “Bark, Mad Dog”

Broadcast Information
