During the Crunchyroll Showcase panel at Anime Expo 2026, the upcoming television anime adaptation of Tempal: Item no Chikara (Overgeared) received new cast announcements, additional staff details, a key visual, and its first promotional video. The anime, based on the action fantasy webtoon by Saenal Park and Team Argo, is set to premiere in October 2026.

Background
The original web novel by Saenal Park was first published on Munpia in 2013, then later officially serialized from November 2014 to April 2024. The print edition, illustrated by HABAN, was released by Maru & Maya starting January 2014, with the 96th and final volume arriving in December 2024.
Team Argo began adapting the series into a webtoon on KakaoPage in April 2020.
Wuxiaworld and Tapas Media published the web novel digitally in English from October 2017 and September 2021, respectively. Tapas Media also began publishing the webtoon digitally in September 2021. Yen Press licensed the webtoon under its Ize Press imprint for physical release in April 2023. The sixth volume of the web novel went on sale on March 24. The tenth webtoon volume went on sale on May 19, and the 11th volume is scheduled for release on August 18.
