The third season of the summer anime Kimi no koto ga Daidaidaidaidaisuki na 100-nin no Kanojo (The 100 Girlfriends Who Really, Really, Really, Really, Really Love You) is set to begin broadcasting on July 5, 2026. Ahead of the premiere, the synopsis and preview cuts for episode 25 (season 3, episode 1), titled “Itoko no Kanojo” (Cousin Girlfriend), have been released.
Based on the manga by Nakamura Riki (story) and Nozawa Yukino (art) serialized in Shueisha’s Weekly Young Jump, the romantic comedy follows Aijou Rentarou, a boy who has been rejected 100 times in middle school. After praying at a shrine, he is told by the God of Love that he will meet 100 soulmates in high school—and if he fails to make them happy, they will die. The first season aired from October to December 2023, and the second season from January to March 2025. The third season is directed by Satou Hikaru at Bibury Animation Studios, with series composition by Aoshima Takashi and character designs by Yano Akane.
Episode 25 Synopsis
One day, Rentarou is asked by his uncle to look after his cousin Iin Chiyo while the uncle is away. Thinking that surely nothing would happen with a cousin, he meets Chiyo’s eyes and gets the “bibiin” feeling. Trying to compose himself, he enters the house, but in front of Chiyo, who cannot help but straighten out anything messy, Rentarou repeatedly makes blunders, only causing more trouble.
