On May 16 and 17, the two-day doujinshi event “Petit Fancy 44” (commonly known as Taiwan PF) was held at the Taipei Expo Park’s Huabo Park Jingyan Hall in Taipei City, Taiwan. This event is a smaller version of the “Fancy Frontier” (Taiwan FF), one of Taiwan’s largest doujinshi conventions, and takes place twice a year in May and November.
Cosplay remains a major highlight of the event, with cosplay circles and dedicated photography areas bustling throughout the day. Taiwan’s cosplay scene has seen remarkable growth in recent years, attracting cosplayers from Japan, South Korea, and Southeast Asia who seek to gain fans and distribute photobooks.
At the venue, we spotted the rising Taiwanese cosplayer 四巫日モミ (Shiwuri Momi). On the first day, she appeared as Ryu Lion from the anime DanMachi (Is It Wrong to Try to Pick Up Girls in a Dungeon?). Her sharp, elongated eyes and slender, toned physique perfectly matched her signature action poses, creating a stunning portrayal.
