The upcoming ice show Touken Ranbu – ICE BLADE – has unveiled a brand-new key visual featuring eight skaters portraying the beloved sword warriors (Touken Danshi) from the hit game Touken Ranbu ONLINE. The event is scheduled for October 3 and 4, 2026, at the National Yoyogi Stadium First Gymnasium.
Touken Ranbu ONLINE is a sword-training simulation game that has surpassed 14 million cumulative users. Players take on the role of a “Saniwa” (審神者) who leads the Touken Danshi—warriors born from famous blades—into battle to protect history. The game features eight types of swords: tantō, wakizashi, uchigatana, tachi, ōdachi, naginata, yari, and ken, each with unique personalities.
As the first ice show in the franchise, Touken Ranbu – ICE BLADE – brings together top Japanese skaters such as Mura Takahito and Tanaka Keiji, alongside voice actors from the original game. The performance blends physical expression on ice with vocal performances, creating a new interpretation of the Touken Ranbu world.
Key Visual and Cast
The newly released key visual gathers all eight skaters: Mura Takahito as Mikazuki Munechika, Nakano Yoji as Kashū Kiyomitsu, Satō Yuki as Ōdō Yasusada, Kushida Kazuki as Yamabagiri Kunihiro, Yamamoto Yasunori as Hizamaru, Tanaka Keiji as Heshikiri Hasebe, Kodaira Keisuke as Tsurumaru Kuninaga, and Yoshino Kōhei as Yamabagiri Nagayoshi. The visual captures the speed and sparkle unique to ice skating, promising elegant dances and sword-fighting choreography never seen before in the series.
Additionally, Sakamoto Kaori—silver medalist in women’s singles at the Milano Cortina Olympics—has been announced to appear as the ice show’s original character, the “Ice Spirit.”
Following the key visual, solo visuals for each of the eight warriors and other cast members will be released in sequence. Pre-request lottery entries are being accepted until July 16, 2026, at 23:59.
Ticket Information
Ticket resale for the show will begin on August 30, 2026, at noon. Winners can receive their purchased tickets and also list them for resale. Sellers can offer either all tickets from their application or only companion tickets. Details on the resale period and method will be announced later on the official website.

Story
The year is 2205. “History Revisionists” seeking to alter the past launch attacks on history. The government of the time sends “Saniwa”—those who can awaken the spirits of sleeping objects and grant them the power to fight—into various eras. The manifested Tsukumogami known as “Touken Danshi” throw themselves into battle to protect history.
In a certain citadel (honmaru) guarded by the five elements—Wood, Fire, Earth, Metal, Water—the citadel has a special duty: monitoring “False Writings” (gisho) that distort, rewrite, and devour true history.
One day, a five-headed dragon (Gozuryū) suddenly attacks the citadel. The shrines are destroyed, and the spirits of the five elements scatter into the False Writings. At that moment, deep within the citadel, the Ice Spirit awakens…
Can Mikazuki Munechika and the others rescue the elemental spirits from the distorted histories—the “False Histories”—created by the False Writings? A new battle of the Touken Danshi, the “Ice Blade,” begins.
